Kodak

We are keen to generate as many films as possible by young people for their peers so we were delighted when The Deborah Hutton Campaign's anti-smoking brief was included in the 2009 Kodak Student Commercial Awards competition. Kodak runs the competition in association with the British Television and Advertising Awards (BTAA).

Initially, students were asked to submit scripts and Charlie Stebbings, film director and founding Trustee of The Deborah Hutton Campaign, and fellow Trustee, James Best, compiled the shortlist for our category. Ogilvy and BBH provided the other five briefs. Final films were judged on: cinematography; post-production; creativity; and overall look.

Happily, our Best in Brief winner, Smoking Law, also won Best Film overall and was screened at the prestigous BTAA event at Grosvenor House in March.

Our congratulations go to the winners and our sincere thanks to Kodak for its generous support of our work.
